چکیده

The aim of current study was to test the ability and optimize decolorization textile azo Reactive Orange 122 by Streptomyces sp (A5) isolated from dye contaminated soil. isolate assessed spectrophotometer at 3, 5 7 days in starch nitrate broth media amended with 0.35 g/L dye. Different incubation conditions like concentration dye, temperature pH were used present investigate their effect on rate. potential exhibited significant incubation. optimum found for degradation (A5). maximum degradations noticed 0.3 concentration, 6 35 °C temperature, respectively. In conclusion, results showed that effectively degraded under optimized conditions.

Biodecolorization and Biodegradation of Azo Dye Reactive Orange-16 by Marine Nocardiopsis sp.

Background: Azo dyes are xenobiotic compounds that have bioaccumulated in the environment due to escalated industrial development. These are hazardous in nature, possessing carcinogenic and mutagenic effects on human beings. Objectives: The perspective of the present study was to isolate and to determine azo dye (Reactive Orange-16) degrading potential of...

Decolorization of Methyl Orange (As a Model Azo Dye) by the Newly Discovered Bacillus Sp

A bacterial strain (strain PS) was isolated from the textile effluents carrying Serilene Black BNFS® (C.I. Disp. Blk. Mix) disperse dye. The isolate was able to decolorize the dye without the need for any exogenous carbon source. Full sequencing of its 16S rRNA indicated that Bacillus sp strain PS is related to Bacillus cereus groups.  Silica- gel-thin layer chromatography of Ser...

Screening, identification and optimization of a yeast strain, Candida palmioleophila JKS4, capable of azo dye decolorization

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES Synthetic dyes are recalcitrant to degradation and toxic to different organisms. Decolorization of textile wastewaters is one of the major concerns since last decades. Physical-chemical treatments are very expensive and frequently producing large amounts of toxic wastes. Biological treatments can be more convenient. In the present study, an attempt has been made for de...
